Palliser Estate Sauvignon Blanc

One thing I’ve learned over the past couple years is the value of finding a wine store and wine expert there that you trust. Currently, mine is Rob at Total Wine. He is very knowledgable and quick to make suggestions when you want a specific wine or a bottle made in a specific place. He knows what we’ve already tried, our preferences and price range, and he never steers us wrong. During my 2020 year-end round up on Instagram (follow @ChelseaPenneyPens), I realized I didn't post any wines from Australia or New Zealand. So when I asked Rob for a good wine from these locations, he went straight to a Syrah from Australia and this Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.

Palliser Estate 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is made in Martinborough. It is pale straw and smells like cantaloupe. It tastes like summer melon, pear and jasmine. It is fruity but totally dry. It is delicious. Rob always knows!
