Santi Nello Prosecco

Santi Nello is classified as a “Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecci Superiore,” which means it is from one of 15 specific communes identified for superior Proseccos in Veneto, Italy. It is certified, so you know you are buying a quality wine. It is medium straw with medium acidity. The bottle states that it is “extra dry,” which actually means it has more sugar added than a “brut.” However, this wine tasted quite dry to me because of the high acidity. Green apple and grapefruit flavors come through. It would pair well with charcuterie or simply some salty, fatty salami.
