Cruz Alta Grand Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 is made in Argentina. It is deep garnet in color. It is high tannin and very mineral. It tastes of sour berries. It is a refreshing warm weather red wine. Cruz Alta also makes a malbec, which I prefer over this cab.

There was a good amount of tartrates in the bottom of this bottle. Tartrates are totally safe to consume as they are naturally occurring in wine. Oftentimes, “wine diamonds” are found in higher quality wines that don’t add unnecessary stabilizers.
