Fleur de Treille Rose

Trader Joe’s wines aren’t always the best quality, but that doesn’t mean they don’t taste good!

Wine from TJ’s isn’t very specific on the label. They often only list the country of origin (not region or vineyard), and they’re not too specific on the varietals. But I still think you can find some tasty blends!

Fleur de Treille is a still rose from France. It is made of Cinsaut and Grenache grapes, but the label doesn’t mention the proportion. It is medium copper and tastes like bitter lemon peel and grass. It’s savory, earthy and barnyard-y with no fruitiness and high acidity. For $5.99 who cares what the label says!
