Rockview Riesling

Rockview 2016 Riesling is from Columbia Valley, Washington. It is a dry Riesling, so it’s not as sweet as traditional German Rieslings. It is pale yellow and juicy. The flavor evolves from slightly sweet to mineral to a quick finish. It is fruit forward with hints of green apple and lime, which is balanced with honeysuckle and petrol. I highly recommend this wine as a foray into Washington wines. This is an excellent wine to pair with spicy food.
