Mumm Blanc de Blancs

Mumm is located in Napa Valley, California. They use the Methode Traditionelle style to produce their wines. That means it is made with the classical Champagne technique of completing the second fermentation in the bottle instead of large tanks. Blanc de Blancs or “white of whites” is made only from white wine (usually Chardonnay). It tastes like apricot and toast with a bitterness on the end. It is not sweet and has a lingering finish. We enjoyed this bottle with out Thanksgiving dinner.
